From Kiel Holtenau the round trip Fyn with the Atlantis will start. Fyn is an island in Denmark, after Zealand it is the largest island in the country. It is separated from Jutland and Zealand by the Great Belt and the Little Belt.
Fyn is the ideal week trip for sailors with "mileage ambitions" but also nature fans will find about 200 miles around the Danish island of Fyn. Those who have the chance to sail around Fyn will experience the full diversity of Danish waters.
The Danish Baltic Sea region offers an enchanting mix of endless sandy beaches, gleaming white chalk cliffs, countless islands and small harbours with colourful houses. You can explore this wonderful world with our beautiful sailing ship Atlantis. A great combination to get a comprehensive picture of this relatively unknown area in Europe.

On board the sailing ship, every day starts a new adventure for you. The captain gets the latest wind report and plans a route that will give you a great sailing trip.  Whether we will sail clockwise or anti-clockwise around the island will depend on the wind and weather.
After a delicious breakfast, the sails are set and in the afternoon the ship sets course for one of the beautiful Baltic ports. There is always enough time to take a walk, whether admiring the city centre with its old architecture or listening to the sound of the sea along one of the beautiful sandy beaches.
In the evening on board we have dinner together and enjoy the sunset with a beer or wine. What could be more beautiful?
