In recent years, more and more guests have fallen in love with this part of the Baltic Sea. Reason enough for us to include it in our itinerary again in 2023.
After everyone has arrived on board, it starts: "All hands on deck and cast off." After a short briefing on deck, the sails are set. During this trip we try to reach Bornholm, but we only deviate from this plan if the wind doesn't allow it, because we also want to sail and not just sail under the engine.
The island of Bornholm is Denmark's easternmost island. Thanks to its location, Bornholm has many hours of sunshine. The mild climate even allows figs to ripen here. It is often said that Bornholm is all of Denmark in a nutshell - because it is hilly, green and fertile with farmland and beautiful forests. Bornholm is the only place in Denmark where you can find dramatic cliffs. And on the south coast are endless wide white sandy beaches. So fine and white that the sand used to be used for hourglasses.
But one thing is certain! It will be eventful days of sailing and relaxing, and in the evenings you will sit in cosy company with a glass of wine or beer on deck or in the saloon.
During the day you can be active on deck, sail or just relax and enjoy the crystal clear Baltic Sea. In the evening you can explore one of the beautiful harbours or enjoy a glass of wine with your fellow sailors on deck or in the cosy saloon after a sumptuous dinner.
One of the destinations on this sailing trip is Bornholm's tranquil capital Rønne with its many museums, picturesque alleys and shopping arcades. Bornholm is one of the sunniest islands in the Baltic Sea, with an impressive variety of vegetation in the north and south, deep brown rocks and blue water. This is what Bornholm stands for.
Please note: Wind and weather conditions may significantly affect the trip. If necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, important changes may be made to the itinerary

The triple masted barque Artemis is a beautiful example of maritime tradition. The ship was built in Norway in 1926 as a whaler. Then she served as a freighter transporting goods between Asia and South-America. Since 2001 the Artemis returned to sail in european waters, honouring the great maritime tradition of the Netherlands.
The same maritime character contiues inside the ship. The Artemis has a stylish timber paneled salon with a typical ship bar and 2nd salon above decks with lovely sea views. The 16 comfortable cabins are finished in mahogany. Each cabin is fitted out with a bunk bed and has an en bathroom with toilet and shower.
The perfect sail characteristics of the ship in combination with the comfort and luxury on board make the Artemis much loved by our guests.
