Even after 30 years, the Tallship Company’s curiosity to discover new waters is still very high!
After throwing the lines in Bremverhaven, a crossing of about 145 nautical seamiles awaits you. This means that you can enjoy the sea for three days, before de destination in Norway comes into view. The sight of Oslo is absolutely breathtaking. The fjords, surrounded by hight mountains, immerse you in the Norwegian world. Moored in Oslo, you can enjoy various activities. The Norwegian capital Oslo is located on the south coast of the country, at the entrance of the beautiful Oslofjord. The city is known for its green environment and many museums. Many of these cultural gems, such as the Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Vikingskiphuset, are located in the Bygdøy peninsula. At the top of the Holmenkollbakken ski jump, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the fjord.
Do you prefer to spend the day in the nature? Then Oslo also offers you many different wonderful possibilities. Outside the city you can take a beautiful walk along the waters.
After the short landstop in Oslo, the Artemis will most likely set course again early in the morning. After another beautiful day at sea, the Kattegat awaits us. The Kattegat is located in the north of the Baltic Sea and has an incredible tidal current. Lines loose and sails high!
After about 140 nautical sea miles, we will reach Göteborg. Another one of the many beautiful Scandinavian metropolises, which is definitely worth a visit! Also in Göteborg there are many opportunities to see various sights. Göteborg, located in Sweden, is located on the river Göta älv, on the west coast of the country. The city has an important harbour and is know for its Dutch-style canals. For the shopping enthusiasts among us: Kungsportsavenyn is the largest shopping street in Göteborg with various cafes and shops.
After the visit to Göteborg, the exact itenary is very flexible, because both the little Baelt, the large Baelt and the Sund offer us the opportunity to start the journey to the south. The Danish Sout Sea with its small islands will certainly show you the Scandinavian charms. Depending on the weather and wind, we will be surprised how the route will look after our visit in Göteborg. We let ourselves be guided by the breeze and immerse ourselves in the summer atmosphere of the Baltic Sea.
