 MORE INFORMATION ON THE ARTEMIS

In the evening the crew of the Artemis welcomes you on board. After you've settled into your cabin, you will be greeted by the captain and you will get to know the fellow sailors and be introduced to the rest of the crew.

Depending on the wind and the weather, the captain will decide whether a beautiful Baltic harbor can be reached under sail or whether the ship enters directly into the Kiel Canal, which was opened by Wilhelm II in 1895. There is much to admire in the Kiel Canal, also referred to as the NOK in German and Dutch: large cargo and passenger ships, the longest bank to sit on in the world (575.75 m) or the famous suspended ferry that crosses the canal in Rendsburg.

In Brunsbüttel we leave the lock and we set course towards Hamburg on the Elbe, where there is a lot to see too, as it's a busy river.

After a hearty breakfast on the last day in Hamburg you leave the Artemis with a suitcase full of new impressions and memories. The Artemis will then get ready for the "Cruise Days".

Hot Tip: Stay in the port city of Hamburg for a few days and experience these special days.

Potential ports of call in the Baltic Sea: Sonderborg, Eckernförde or Cuxhaven.
These are potential ports only and depending on the wind these will or will not be reached during this trip.

Included:
The price includes accommodation in twin cabins with shower and toilet. Towels and bed linen are provided and all additional shipping costs and port fees are paid for. The full board consists of a breakfast buffet, a lunch buffet, an afternoon coffee break and dinner. In addition to the afternoon coffee break, coffee and tea are freely available all day.

Excluded:
Transfer costs and drinks (other than coffee and tea)

Recommendations for your trip:
Sporty casual clothing (suitable for wind, weather and rain), possibly a bathing suit. We recommend using soft travelbags, instead of hard case cases, as they are not suitable for stowing in the cabins. Remember to take your passport/ identity card and cash to settle your onboard account at the end of the trip. Card payment is not provided for.
