A sailing trip is an unforgettable experience. You can enjoy the freedom and neutral environment from aboard a beautiful sailing ship, while learning all about sailing at sea. Our ships & their experienced crew offer the perfect environment for first time sailors. You can do as much or as little as you want to under their expert guidance. Seasickness is uncomfortable but not insurmountable. Should you have feel queasy, then we have some tips for you: stay on deck in the middle of the ship: the ship moves the least amidships and you have fresh air. Look at a steady point, the horizon. The top tips from our experienced crew: eat regularly and sleep enough. You physician or pharmacy can inform you on which medication to take if necessary.
You pay cash or in local currency. Unfortunately we do not take cards on board.
Yes it is. There is a maximum of 36 guests on board on longer trips, so socializing with fellow sailors is easy. That means that you do not have to be alone, unless you want to be, of course.
The ship is equipment to safely sail internationally. The Dutch Shipping Inspectorate inspects the equipment on board and the ships' seaworthiness annually. Our ships sail in accordance with ISM (International Safety Management) to ensure that all necessary procedures on board are implemented.
Helping to sail the ship or any other work is completely voluntary. Of course the crew likes to share their passion for sailing, but you have no obligation to help! You can just enjoy your vacation.
On our ships you will have a comfortable cabin with shower and toilet, central heating, ventilation and 220V sockets. The cabins are cozy and have storage for your belongings. Upon arrival your bed is made.
You will have a fantastic sailing experience on one of our impressive triple masted ships. We may not be able to sail as high at the wind or tack as you may be used to, but feeling the wind in the over 1000m2 of sail is bound to convince you that of your decision to sail with us was the right one.
